What? How? When?
We will teach the basics of programming using a block-based programming language MicroBlocks and a pocket-sized computer micro:bit. You can apply these skills right away and build some fun projects!
It's free. We provide everything you need: the hardware and laptops.
No prior programming knowledge is required.
All age groups are welcome.
We accept applications on a rolling basis. You can register for the next session on the Register page and we will contact you and invite for the upcoming session.

Our Team
Nargiza Kholmatova
Nargiza is a self-taught programmer. She holds an undergraduate degree in finance from the Namangan Engineering and Economics Institute. Nargiza is passionate about helping to make STEM education accessible to more girls and women. She is the MicroBlocks ambassador to Central Asia, a global nonprofit whose mission is to make STEM education accessible to all.
Kathy Giori
Kathy fills her desk with hardware, especially microcontroller boards that can be programmed using MicroBlocks, a learning tool for physical computing. She previously held senior roles at Mozilla, Arduino, Qualcomm Atheros, a few startups, and more. She is super keen on equity of access to all students across the globe to obtain a good STEM education. She received her bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and her master's in EE from Stanford University.
